A7 motorway
From the north, exit 24 Avignon-Sud then the D901 through Le Thor: 25 minutes after the toll. From the south, exit 25 Cavaillon then the D938: a quarter of an hour.
Marseille-Provence airport
A7 northbound to Cavaillon. Car hire facing the terminal. Aix-en-Provence is an hour away too, Marseille a little more.
Avignon TGV station
Paris in 2 hr 40 by TGV, Lyon in 1 hr 5. Car hire at the station, no toll from here. Without a car, the regional train takes 40 minutes with a change at Avignon-Centre.
L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue station
Regional train from Avignon-Centre in 25 minutes, roughly one an hour. The station is in the town centre; a taxi gets you here in five minutes, by booking, especially in summer. Let us know, we will point you to the right one.
Centre of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue
Antique dealers, water wheels on the Sorgue, the Thursday and Sunday morning market, the Sunday flea market. Bakery and bar-restaurant 500 m from the loft.
